Brijwasi Book Distributors & Publishers

Our office and the main warehouse are located at Plot No- H-87 in Laxmi Nagar. We are quite close to Lalita Park if you are coming from that direction. It’s a bit of a maze getting through these lanes if you don't know the area well. Brijwasi has been operating for quite a long time now. We do both the publishing and the distributing of books. That means there are always heavy boxes being moved around from the trucks to the shelves. It can get quite loud inside with the sound of tape dispensers and the delivery vans idling outside the door. It’s a lot of physical work every day. We aren't a fancy bookstore where you can sit down and read with a coffee. It’s more of a warehouse where books go in and out in large quantities. The walls are lined with high stacks of printed material and cardboard boxes. We have a small metal desk where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls. It’s often covered in half-empty tea mugs and stacks of invoices. We have a few local guys who handle the loading and unloading when the shipments come in. We've been in Laxmi Nagar for many years, and we've seen the whole neighborhood change and get more crowded. We don't have a big front window or a sign. It’s just a plain entrance for the business. If you need a specific book we've published, we can usually find it.
