You can find Arsee Publishers at Office No 51 in Parda Bagh. We are right there in Darya Ganj, which is always a bit chaotic with all the traffic and people moving around. Being near the petrol pump helps because it’s a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. Our office is usually filled to the ceiling with manuscripts and printed stacks. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside. We have been working out of this space for a long time, and honestly, we’ve run out of shelf space years ago. The walls are thin, so you can always hear the horns and the city noise from outside while we are trying to read through proofs. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it has its own rhythm. We deal with authors and printers all day long, mostly over the phone or just shouting across the room. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, which keeps us in shape, I suppose. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know where every single book is buried in the piles. It’s messy and there is always ink on someone’s hands, but the work gets done. Darya Ganj is a tough place to navigate, but we wouldn’t really want to be anywhere else. It feels like the right spot for what we do, right in the middle of everything.
