Welcome Palace

You can find Welcome Palace on Dehradun Road in Rishikesh. We are right opposite Natraj Chowk, which is a big landmark around here. If you are coming into town from the Dehradun side, you can’t really miss us. The building has been here for a bit and it looks out onto the main road. Rishikesh is always full of people, especially during the pilgrimage seasons, so there is a lot of traffic at the chowk. We spend a lot of time cleaning the front steps because of all the dust from the road. The rooms inside are pretty simple. We have windows that look out towards the mountains if you are on the higher floors. The 249201 area is quite busy, so it stays noisy until late at night. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a small desk where we keep the guest register. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but that is common in this part of the state. We have some plants in pots near the entrance to make it look a bit better. The staff lives nearby and they walk to work. We just provide a place for people to stay while they are visiting the temples or the river. It’s a plain, honest business. We don't promise anything more than a bed and a roof over your head. It’s just us doing our work every day opposite Natraj Chowk.
