Hotel Classic Heights

We've been here at Gandhi Chowk for a while now. It's right by Library Bazaar. The fog gets thick up here sometimes, especially in the mornings. You can see people walking up and down the road from the front windows. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are ready and the geysers are actually working because it gets very cold at night. It's a busy spot, being right in the middle of everything. Sometimes the noise from the market comes right inside, but that is just how it is in Mussoorie. We don't have fancy elevators that work all the time, but we try to keep things tidy enough. Most days it's just about answering the phone and showing people where they can park their cars, which isn't easy around here. The building has some years on it now. You might notice some paint peeling here or there if you look close enough. We usually have tea going in the back. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too loud or over the top. We just handle the keys and make sure the blankets are heavy enough for the winter months. A lot of folks stop by just because they’re tired of walking up the steep hills. We're right there near the shops, so there's always something happening outside the door. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the place running day to day without too much fuss.
