Narayana Kunj Hotel

Our hotel is located in Ram Jhula, in the village of Jonk. It is part of the Swarg Ashram area in the Pauri Garhwal district. The pin code is 249201. Being in Jonk means we are a bit further back from the water than some places, but it is still very much in the middle of everything. We run a simple hotel here. It is not a luxury resort with five stars. It is just a place for people to stay when they come to Rishikesh. We have rooms that we try to keep clean and ready for whoever arrives. Running a hotel in this area means meeting people from all over the world. We do not have a big staff or a concierge desk. We just handle the check-ins and check-outs ourselves. Some days the plumbing acts up or the electricity goes out, which is common around here, and we just have to fix it as we go. We do not have any fancy brochures filled with marketing talk. We just tell people what the rooms are like and what the price is. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We live on the premises, so we are always around if someone needs something. It is a lot of work keeping a place like this going, but it is what we do. We are just a local family running a place in the village.
