Jaypee Residency Manor

Jaypee Residency Manor is tucked away in Barlowganj, just a bit outside the main hustle of the hill station. It’s a pretty big place sitting on the edge of a hill. Most people notice the view first thing because you can see the whole valley from the windows. The weather up here changes fast. One minute it’s sunny and the next the clouds are literally inside the lobby. It gets really cold in the winter months, so we stay busy checking the heaters and making sure everyone has enough heavy blankets. We have an indoor pool since the mountain air is usually too sharp for swimming outside. There is a lot of glass everywhere to catch the sun when it’s out. We also have a bowling alley and some space for kids to run around. The gardens need a lot of attention because of the slope and the rain. Sometimes the monkeys come around and cause a bit of trouble, but that’s just life in the hills. It’s a long, winding drive up from the plains to get here. Keeping a big building like this running smoothly when the weather is rough is a full-time job for the whole crew. The staff mostly knows the local roads well. We just focus on keeping the rooms tidy and the kitchen ready for whenever people get hungry. It’s a quiet spot most days, which is why people come up this far.
