Ganga Beach

Our place is called Ganga Beach and you can find us on Laxman Jhulla Road in Rishikesh. We are very close to the actual Laxman Jhulla, which is why there are always so many people walking around outside. It’s a very busy area with pilgrims and tourists going back and forth all day long. We set this up to give people a spot to stay near the river. It’s not a luxury hotel, just a simple place for travelers who want to be near the water. You can hear the river if you sit quietly enough, though the motorbikes on the road usually drown it out during the daytime. We have some basic rooms and a little area where people can sit. My brother and I handle the day-to-day work here. We do the cleaning, the check-ins, and we even help people figure out which bus to take or where to find a good meal nearby. The building is an older one, and it has some quirks like doors that stick a bit when the air is humid. We don’t mind it much. It’s just how things are in Rishikesh. We see people from all over the world coming through these doors. Most of them are looking for some peace or just want to see the Ganga. We try to make them feel welcome without being pushy or corporate about it. It is just our way of living.
