Dharkot Hamlet Resorts Private Limited operates out of Shop Number 825/1 on Kaula Garh Road in Dehradun. It’s a central part of the city and there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. The shop is small and filled with files, maps, and a couple of old computers. We don't have a receptionist or any of those corporate bells and whistles. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us on the phone trying to sort out a delivery or talking to a contractor. Running a resort business from a small shop on a busy road has its challenges, but it keeps us connected to the city. We spend our days managing the various tasks that go into keeping our resort locations functional. This means dealing with things like laundry services, food supplies, and making sure the staff at the sites have what they need. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the industry. We just focus on the day-to-day work that needs to be done. Sometimes the traffic on Kaula Garh Road makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re a small, practical team and we prefer to keep things simple and honest without any of that polished marketing talk that you see everywhere else.
