We operate from the Hill Campus in Ranichori, which is near the post office there. Our office is at Kishan Dutt Mamgain’s place. Being up in Ranichori is quite a different experience from being down in the plains of Pantnagar. It is much quieter up here, and the air is always a bit cooler. We look after a few hotels and resorts from this location. It’s not a large office, just a simple space where we can keep our records and handle the business. The mountain life has its own set of challenges. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the roads get blocked after a heavy rain. We just take it as it comes. We aren't a corporate team with suits and ties. We are just local people who have been living in this area for a long time. We know the land and the people here very well. Most of our day is spent making sure the properties are being looked after and that our staff at the hotels have what they need. It involves a lot of phone calls and sometimes a long drive down the winding roads. We like the pace of life here. It allows us to focus on doing a good job without the constant rush of the city. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. It is a peaceful place to do our business.
