Comfort Inn Fort Resort

Comfort Inn Fort Resort is located right on Picture Palace Road. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty lively around here. We’ve seen the weather change from foggy mornings to clear afternoons more times than I can count. The resort is basically a bunch of rooms and spaces where people come to get away from the heat of the plains. We spend a lot of time sweeping up pine needles and dust that blows in from the trees. It’s a hilly spot, so there’s some walking involved to get around the property. The staff here are mostly local guys who know the shortcuts down to the main road. Sometimes the Wi-Fi acts up when it rains heavy, which happens quite a bit during the monsoon season. We don't have those big flashy signs you see in the city. It’s more of a place where you can hear the birds in the morning if the tourists aren't being too loud. The road outside can get jammed with cars during the peak season, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time. We keep the kitchen busy making standard meals for families who stay with us. It’s a lot of work keeping a big place like this tidy, especially with the mountain air making everything damp. We just do our jobs and try to make sure the rooms are ready when people show up tired from the drive.
