So, we’re tucked away in Lane No. 2 of Vijay Colony. If you know Dehradun, you know the New Cantt Road area. It’s a decent spot. Coalesce Resorts Private Limited is the official name, but mostly people just come here when they need a break. We’re at house 281/1. We started this because we liked the idea of having a place where people could just sit back for a bit. It’s not a huge operation. We’ve got a small staff and we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. Dehradun weather can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time maintaining the grounds. Sometimes the lane gets a bit crowded with cars, but it’s usually quiet enough. We don’t really do the whole flashy hotel thing. It’s more about having a roof over your head and a decent bed. We keep the paperwork in order for the 248001 area. My cousin helped with the initial setup, and now it’s just a daily routine of checking guests in and out. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble floors, but the walls are sturdy and the tea is hot. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things running smoothly. You might miss the turn if you aren't looking, but we like it that way. It keeps the noise down. We spend our weekends catching up on repairs. It's not glamorous, but it’s ours.
