Brentwood Hotel

If you’ve ever walked down The Mall in Mussoorie, you might have passed the Brentwood Hotel near Picture Place. We are right there in the thick of things. Mussoorie gets quite busy, especially when the weather is nice, and being located at The Mall means we see a lot of people walking by every day. The hotel has been around for a while. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and we try to keep things running smoothly for everyone who stops by. We aren't one of those modern, sterile hotels. It’s got a bit of an older feel to it, which we think is okay. The staff here is mostly local people who know the area well. We spend our time checking people in, making sure the rooms are tidy, and answering questions about where to go for a good walk. The fog rolls in quite often up here, which can make the place look a bit mysterious. Sometimes the monkeys on the roof make a bit of a racket, but that’s just part of living in the hills. We don’t have a massive marketing team or anything. We just open the doors every morning and do our work to help whoever walks through them. It’s a simple life up here in Mussoorie, even when the tourists are everywhere. We just try to maintain the place and be helpful to visitors.
