Blue Country Resort Panchgani

Our main office for Blue Country Resort Panchgani is actually located at 47/1 Vijay Colony in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. It might seem a bit far from the actual resort location, but this is where all the administrative stuff happens. Vijay Colony is a decent neighborhood, fairly quiet compared to the main market areas of Dehradun. The pin code here is 248001. We have a small setup in India where we handle the bookings and talk to people on the phone all day. It’s a lot of coordination between here and the hills. The office itself is just a regular ground-floor space with some old files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We get a lot of rain in this part of Uttaranchal, so the walls sometimes get that damp smell in July. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know the regulars by their voices. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit to work. We usually just show up in whatever is comfortable and get to work on the spreadsheets. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in while we drink some chai. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here in Dehradun. We just keep things running the best we can from this little office in the colony.
