The colony is a nice enough place, and we’ve made our home here. We don't use big words or fancy promises. Running a resort involves a lot of behind-the-scenes work that people don't see, like fixing leaks and making sure the linen is actually clean. We do it because it’s what we know. Uttarakhand is beautiful, but it can be hard on buildings. We spend a lot of time on maintenance. Every morning starts with a list of things to do, and usually, we don’t finish it until late. It’s a practical way of living. We don’t have a PR person. If you talk to us, you’re talking to the people who actually own and run the place. We keep things honest and straightforward. That’s just the way we were raised to do business. Sometimes the neighbors come over for coffee and we just talk about the weather. It’s a community, really. We’re just happy to be a small part of it.
