Star Kids

If you are looking for us, we are over on Nivedita Road in Siliguri. This is a small place for younger kids and we have been in this 734001 neighborhood for a few years. The building is not very big, but it has enough space for the children to sit and learn their basics. We have some colorful posters on the walls and some toys piled up in the corners for when they have their breaks. Siliguri can get very rainy, so we spend a lot of time indoors during the monsoon season. The rooms can get a bit stuffy then, but we open the windows when the sun comes out. We are not doing anything grand here, just helping kids get used to being away from home for a few hours. Parents drop their little ones off on their way to work, and the street outside can get quite crowded with rickshaws and scooters. We have a small staff of people who genuinely like being around children, even when they are being a bit difficult. Sometimes the floors have crayon marks on them and the shelves are a bit disorganized, but that is just how it is when you work with kids. We do not use any complicated methods, just simple teaching and looking after them while their parents are busy. It is a humble spot on a busy road where we try to keep things calm and friendly.
