Grizzzlys Restaurant

Grizzzlys Restaurant is tucked away behind Piyarelal Agarwal & Company on Sevoke Road. We are right in the Seth Sri Lal Market area of Siliguri, which is always a bit of a mess with people and rickshaws. If you are standing at Hotel Mayore, you can see us right across the way. We took over this spot a few years back. The market has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. The walls inside are nothing special and the lighting is just some basic bulbs we put up. We don't use any fancy napkins or expensive plates. It is a place where you come to eat and then get back to your day. The rains in Siliguri can be really heavy and sometimes the water leaks a little near the back door, so we have to keep a bucket there. It is just one of those things you deal with when you have a shop in an old building. We get our vegetables from the stalls just a few meters away every morning. It is nice being close to the source. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who have been with us since we started. We aren't trying to be the best restaurant in town or anything like that. We just want to provide a place where the food is ready and the seats are available. It is just us working here.
