Amber Bar & Restaurant

This place is inside the Saluja Residency building on Hill Cart Road in Siliguri. If you know Siliguri, you know that Hill Cart Road is always full of noise, rickshaws, and people moving around. We are right in the thick of it. Our bar and restaurant is where people come after they finish work in the local shops or offices. It can get pretty loud in here when the sun goes down and the lights come on. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming for years, so we know their names and what they like to drink. The kitchen is tucked away in the back and it stays hot and busy from morning until we close late at night. We don't have fancy decorations, just sturdy tables and chairs that can handle a lot of use. The staff is used to the fast pace and the shouting from the kitchen. We spend a lot of time wiping down the bar and making sure the fridge is stocked up. It is a practical kind of place for people who want to sit for an hour or two before heading home. Sometimes the rain here is so heavy you can barely hear the music, but people still come in to stay dry. We just keep the doors open and do our work like everyone else on this street.
