Blind Date Restaurant

Blind Date Restaurant is over in Hakimpara on Raja Rammohan Roy Road. Siliguri can be a very frantic city, but our little corner here in Hakimpara is a bit more grounded. We opened this place with the idea of having a simple neighborhood eatery. We didn't want anything too flashy. The name is just something we liked, it doesn't mean anything too deep. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk to work. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure everything is in its place. The road outside has its own rhythm with people going to work and school. We get a mix of people coming in—some students, some families, and people working in the local offices. It’s a plain space with tables and chairs where you can just eat and talk. We don't have a big social media presence or anything. We mostly rely on people walking by or folks who live in the neighborhood telling their friends about us. It is hard work running a restaurant in Siliguri, but we enjoy it. We try to keep things consistent even when we have a bad day. If you find yourself on Raja Rammohan Roy Road, you can stop in. We are usually around, doing the same things every day to keep the place running. It’s just a normal, local business.
