Mahabir Bhojanalay

Mahabir Bhojanalay is located right at Sevoke More on Hill Cart Road in Siliguri. It is a very busy spot because of the traffic point right across from us. You can see the cars and buses lined up all day from our front door. We have been here for quite a while. It is a simple place where people come to eat a regular meal. We do not have a big menu with fancy items you can't pronounce. It is just the usual food that people eat at home. We start early in the morning to get everything ready for the lunch crowd. A lot of our customers are people who work in the shops nearby or travelers who just got off a bus. It is loud and hot sometimes because of the location, but we have fans going. We do not have any corporate training or a polished way of doing things. We just cook and serve. My father started this and now we just keep it going. The tables are basic and the plates are simple. We don't do any advertising or social media stuff. Most people find us because they are hungry and they see our sign while waiting at the traffic light. It is a small operation with just a few of us working here. We just want to make sure the food is ready and people are satisfied before they head back out into the traffic. It is just a normal life for us in a very busy part of town.
