This is Terai Tea Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located in Keshordoba, which is part of Kharibari, near the Adhikari area. As you can probably tell from the name, we mostly deal with tea. This part of the country is good for it, but it is a lot of work to keep the bushes healthy throughout the year. We are a bunch of local growers who decided to team up. Instead of everyone doing their own thing separately, we work together now. It helps when we need to move the tea or buy supplies in larger amounts. We are not some big plantation owned by people in the city. We are just local folks who have been doing this for a long time. The weather in Kharibari can be a bit unpredictable, so we have to watch the tea leaves very closely. Some years are better than others for the harvest. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed where we collect the leaves. It is a simple life, but it keeps us very busy. We do not really have time for making things sound better than they actually are. It is just tea and hard work. If you come by Keshordoba, you will see us working away in the rows. We are just trying to keep our farms going and make sure the tea we grow is decent for everyone.
