Killa Agri Horti Farmers Fed Producer Company Limited is based over in Dharjiling Para. We are at the place of the son of Ain Bhakta Molsom. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone is pretty much involved in farming or horticulture in some way. We spend our time working on the federation side of things. It involves a lot of talking to the farmers in the para. We aren't a big corporation with suits and ties. We are just local people who know the land. Sometimes we have meetings under the trees or in the small office area we have set up. It gets quite humid here, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don't have a polished mission statement or anything. We just want to make sure the horti and agri stuff is handled correctly for the people living here. It’s a lot of manual record-keeping and checking on the crops. Dharjiling Para is a quiet place for the most part. We like it that way. We don't see many outsiders, but when we do, we show them where we are. We are just part of the everyday life in this village. It’s what we have always done and we don't see it changing much. Working with the seasons is just how life goes for us and we just take it one day at a time.
