Teesta-Torsha Farmers Producer Company Limited

Teesta-Torsha Farmers Producer Company Limited is our group here in Barobisha. We are based at Plot No. 232/605, which is at Bimal Das’s place in Laskar Para. We take our name from the rivers around here that we all know well. Most of us are just regular farmers from the village. We started this because we thought it would be better to work as one group instead of everyone struggling on their own. We grow various crops depending on what the land and the season allows. Barobisha is a nice place, but the work on the land is never-ending. We do not have a professional writer to do this, so we are just telling it like it is. We wake up early, head to the fields, and usually stay there until the sun goes down. There is always something to do, like fixing old fences or checking the soil for moisture. We are not a corporate office with a bunch of managers in suits. It is just us, the farmers, sitting around and making decisions together. We try to help each other out with seeds and tools when we can. It is just a practical way to live. We do not make big promises or use fancy slogans. We just want to farm our land and get our products out there so we can support our families. It has been a learning process for all of us, but we are making it work.
