Zam zam Biryani

Our small spot is located in the FVS complex right on Palakkad main road. It is a busy stretch in Madukkarai. If you are driving towards Coimbatore, you will see us in Gandhi Nagar. We focus mostly on biryani because that is what people ask for the most. The kitchen is always hot. You can smell the spices from the street. We use the big pots to cook several batches throughout the afternoon. It is not a very big space inside, so it gets crowded during the peak hours. Many people prefer to take their food home in packets. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the rush. The plates are basic and the seating is just enough for a quick sit-down meal. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that. The focus is just on the rice and meat. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to park, but people manage. We have been here for some years now. Dealing with the heat in the kitchen is the hardest part. But when the pots are opened and the steam comes out, it feels worth it. We don't have a big menu. Just a few things that we know how to make well. It is a straightforward business. We open, we cook, we sell, and then we close up late at night. There is no point in being complicated about it.
