You will find us at 45/1A in Pilchinampalayam, which is near Pollachi and Samathur. It’s a bit of a long name for a school, but we just call it the school. Being in the Coimbatore district means we have a lot of space around us. The school is a big building surrounded by trees and some open fields. Every morning, the buses roll in from the surrounding villages to drop off the students. We spend our time managing the classes and making sure the teachers have what they need for the day. It’s a lot of coordination, especially with the CBSE requirements, but we just handle it one task at a time. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. Most of our furniture is just standard school stuff that has been used for years. We walk through the hallways and hear the lessons going on, which is the best part of the day. The staffroom is usually full of papers and tea cups. We don't try to sound like a big international corporation. We are just a local school in Pollachi trying to do a decent job for the kids. The weather gets quite hot here, so we spend a lot of time under the fans. It is a very normal, busy life for all of us involved with the school. We just keep our heads down and do the work daily.
