Vender Exim

Starting off in T. Nagar here in Ramanathapuram, we spend most of our time at the R.R. Building. Vender Exim is really just a group of us handling various export and import tasks every day. Coimbatore has a lot of energy, and being in this part of town means there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been at this address, number 18, for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the printer acts up right when we need to get a shipment manifest out, which is frustrating. We deal with various goods coming in and going out, mostly managing the logistics and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a lot of phone calls and checking on containers. The Ramanathapuram area is quite busy, so getting in and out of the building can be a bit of a crawl during rush hour. We usually just have our lunch at our desks or step out for a quick tea nearby. It is hard work and sometimes the days are long, especially when time zones don't match up with the people we are talking to overseas. We just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. It is a straightforward business and we just focus on the day's list of things to do until the lights go off.
