Tiffinys Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at No 54 in Coimbatore Central. We are quite close to the Nehru Stadium and the Voc Park, right near the Palamudhir Nilayam. It is a good spot because there is always something happening nearby, whether it is a cricket match or people just out for a walk in the park. Tiffinys isn't a very large place, and the interior is pretty basic. We have some wooden tables that have been around for years and a tiled floor that we scrub down every night. The noise from the traffic on the main road is a constant background sound here. We get a real mix of people coming through our doors, from students to families and office workers. We don't spend any time on advertising because word of mouth seems to work just fine for us. The kitchen is small and gets very crowded when we are busy. We prepare everything daily using whatever is fresh at the market that morning. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the crowd is bigger than we expected, but we try to keep everyone fed. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a polished way of speaking. We are just local people serving food to our neighbors. It's a lot of work and our aprons are usually covered in stains by the end of the shift, but that is just the way it goes in this business. We like to see people leaving with a full stomach, as it makes the effort feel worth it.
