Star Biriyani & Chinese

You can find us at Star Biriyani & Chinese over on Thadagam Road in Sivaji Colony. We are right near Kiruthika Theatre in the Edayarpalayam area. It's a lively spot to be in, especially in the evenings when people are out and about. We focus on two things mostly: biriyani and the Chinese dishes that everyone seems to like. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent over the stoves, especially during the lunch hour. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen, but that's just how it is. We see a lot of people from the colony coming in for their dinner. Some stay to eat, others just grab a parcel and go. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. We just serve the food we know how to make. The noise from the road is always there, but you get used to it after a while. We started this place because we liked the area. It's a good community here in Coimbatore. We keep the menu simple so we can manage it ourselves. Sometimes the delivery guys are buzzing in and out, which adds to the bustle. It's just a regular food joint where you get a plate of rice or noodles without any fuss. We try our best to keep everything clean and ready for the next customer. Usually, you’ll see me or my brother behind the counter.
