Sri Rayappas Chettinad Restaurant

Our restaurant, Sri Rayappas Chettinad Restaurant, is located at No 333 in Singapore Plaza. This is right on Cross Cut Road in the Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore. If you know Gandhipuram, you know it is the main shopping hub of the city. Cross Cut Road is always packed with shoppers and people going to the bus stand. Being inside a plaza means we are right in the thick of things. We serve Chettinad style food, which is what we know how to do. The kitchen is always busy with the smell of spices and the sound of pans. It is a very lively place to work. We don't have a fancy corporate identity or a polished look. The restaurant is just a simple place where people can sit and eat after they are done with their shopping. The 641012 area is very noisy and fast-paced, and we just try to keep up with that energy. We have a lot of staff who have been with us for a long time. We don't spend money on big ads or billboards. People just find us because they are already in Singapore Plaza or walking down Cross Cut Road. It is a lot of hard work to keep everything running smoothly when the weekend rush hits. We just focus on the cooking and making sure everyone gets their food. It is a very basic way of doing business.
