Sri Balaji Bhavan

Sri Balaji Bhavan is located at No 85/16 in the Surya Apartment building in R S Puram. We are right opposite Gandhi Park, which is a nice spot because there’s always people walking around. We’ve been operating out of this location in Coimbatore for a good while now. It’s a basic vegetarian place where you can get a meal without spending too much. The dining area isn't huge, but we’ve squeezed in enough tables for the lunch rush. It gets pretty loud when the park is busy and people come over for a bite. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything like that. Our waiters are just local guys who know the menu by heart. The kitchen is always a bit of a mess during peak hours, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We focus on the daily meals and the tiffin items. Sometimes the power goes out or we run short on a certain vegetable, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decorations. We just want to provide a place where you can sit down and eat. Being in R S Puram is great because there is so much life around us. We just open up in the morning, do our best with the cooking, and close up when the food is gone. It’s a simple life and we like it just fine.
