Spicy indian tandoori

Spicy indian tandoori is located on Trichy road here in Coimbatore. We are tucked away a bit behind the LV bank in Ramanathapuram. It’s a decent spot, though traffic on the main road can be a headache sometimes during the evenings. We started this place because we liked the idea of a small tandoor setup in this neighborhood. The oven stays hot most of the day. My brother and I usually handle the front while the kitchen team does their thing in the back. It isn't a huge space, so it gets crowded on weekends. We have some plastic chairs outside for when people are waiting for their parcels. Working with tandoors means a lot of smoke and heat, but that is part of the job. We buy our vegetables and meat from the local market every morning. It’s a lot of walking back and forth. The neighborhood knows us now, which is nice. We aren't trying to be some big chain or a five-star hotel. We just serve food on metal plates and hope people enjoy their meal. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the crowd is bigger than we thought. That’s just how running a small business goes. If you are driving down Trichy road and need a bite, look for the bank and turn in. We’ll be there working away near the fire. Every day is different, but we stay busy enough with the locals who come by for dinner.
