Sampoorna Restaurant

We’ve been here at West Thiruvenkatswamy Road for quite a while now. Most people around R S Puram know the spot. Our address used to be Old No 160/1 but it’s New No 21 now, though people still get confused sometimes. Coimbatore is a busy city and this part of town is no different. We start our day pretty early, usually before the sun is even fully up. You can hear the first few buses rattling down the road while we get the kitchen going. It’s a lot of routine work, like checking the stocks and making sure the tables are wiped down properly. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. The floors are just regular tiles and the chairs are simple. We see a lot of the same faces every morning, mostly folks who work nearby or live just a few streets over. R S Puram has changed a lot over the years but we just keep doing what we do. It’s hard work and some days are better than others. When the lunch rush hits, it gets loud and a bit chaotic, but that’s just how it goes. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who know the drill. We just try to get the food out on time and keep things moving. It’s a plain, local business and we are fine with that. It's just what we do every day to keep things running.
