Paarampariyam chettinadu unavagam is a bit of a long name, but most people just call us the Chettinadu place. We’re at S.F No. 282/1A, right in a spot where the neighborhood is growing fast. The kitchen is the heart of what we do, and you can usually smell the roasted spices and coconut from the street. We’re a simple restaurant, nothing too polished or modern. The tables are sturdy and the food comes out hot. We spend a lot of time sourcing the right ingredients because Chettinadu cooking depends so much on the spice mix. It’s a family-style environment where things can get a bit loud during the Sunday lunch rush. We’ve got regulars who have been coming here since we first opened, and we know their usual orders by heart. Vadavalli is a nice part of Coimbatore, and we like being on the main road where we can see everyone passing by on their way home. It’s just honest cooking and a lot of hard work in the kitchen. We don't have fancy decorations, just some simple chairs and the smell of good food to welcome people in. It's how we've always done things here, and we don't plan on changing it much. We just keep on cooking.
