Nalans Aappa Kadai

We are located on Logamaniyam Street East in the R S Puram neighborhood of Coimbatore. The address is No 94/E. This street is mostly a mix of houses and small shops, so it stays fairly busy. We focus mostly on making aappas and a few other local dishes. The shop itself is not very big at all. We have just a couple of tables for anyone who wants to sit down and eat right away. Most of the action happens in the back where the kitchen is located. It is a very simple setup without any modern technology or complicated ordering systems. We just write things down on a pad and get to cooking. We have been in this same spot for a good while now. Most of the people who come in are from the nearby streets and they know us by name. It is a plain and honest place to get some food without any extra fuss. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished look. We just wear our regular clothes and get the work done. The smell of the cooking usually drifts out onto the street and lets people know we are open. We start early in the morning and keep going until the dough runs out or it is finally time to close up for the night. It is just a regular local shop for the neighborhood.
