We run our operations from 2-B, Vijaydeepa Narayana Apartment in Grey Town. It is a bit unusual being in an apartment building, but it is located right near Nehru Stadium, which makes it easy to give directions. Having the office here makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed and less like a typical corporate environment. Since we handle export work, we are constantly on the phone or emailing people to coordinate shipments. The rooms are usually filled with boxes and samples of the different items we are preparing to send abroad. It might not look perfectly tidy all the time, but we have a good handle on where everything is located. Our team is small, just a few of us sitting at our desks and trying to keep track of everything on our screens. We drink quite a bit of tea throughout the day while we wait for news on shipping containers. On days when there is a match at the stadium, the whole area gets incredibly crowded and parking becomes a nightmare, but we have learned to plan around it. We do not have a big sign out front, so most people who come by are people we have worked with for years. We like the personal feel of a small office and we do not follow any strict corporate rules about how to talk to people. It is just a straightforward business run by a few dedicated folks.
