Kovai Biryani Hotel

I started Kovai Biryani Hotel a while ago over here in R S Puram. We are right at No 3 in Vcv Layout, and if you are standing opposite Senthil Hospital, you can pretty much see our sign. It's a busy part of Coimbatore and the traffic can be a lot sometimes, but we like it here. My day usually starts early because the biryani takes time to get right. We don't do anything too fancy, just the regular recipes that people around here like to eat for lunch. Most of our customers are folks working in the nearby shops or people who are visiting the hospital and need a quick meal before they head back home. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the afternoon and it gets noisy when the lunch rush starts around 1 PM. I handle most of the stuff myself with a few helpers who have been with me for years now. We try to keep the place clean, though it’s a bit of an old building. Sometimes we run out of certain pieces of meat by late afternoon if it’s a particularly busy Tuesday or Sunday. It’s just how things go. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that, just us making food every day and hoping the salt is just right. If you’re walking around the layout and smell something good, that’s probably our pots bubbling away on the stove.
