Focusun Energy Systems (Sunlit Group)

Down on Irugur Road, near the Chinniyampalayam area, you’ll find our building. It’s 2/388 A, right off the main Avinashi Road. We spend most of our time thinking about the sun and how to catch it. The yard is usually full of panels and metal frames. It gets pretty dusty with the traffic nearby, but we keep things moving. We aren't the type to wear suits to work. It’s mostly boots and work shirts around here. We handle solar water heaters and other energy setups. Sometimes the installations take us out to rooftops all over the city. When we are back at the shop, we’re mostly checking inventory or loading the vans. The Sunlit Group name is on the sign, but we’re just the local team on the ground. We have a small break room where we eat lunch together. It’s a decent place to work. The guys know their stuff when it comes to plumbing and electrical connections. We don’t do much talking; we just get the racks set up and the pipes connected. It’s a busy road so there’s always noise outside. Inside, it’s just the sound of tools and the occasional phone ringing. We’ve been at this spot for a bit and know the neighborhood well. It’s just what we do every day. The traffic on Avinashi Road is a nightmare during peak hours, so we try to time our deliveries for the early morning or late afternoon. It's a lot of heavy lifting, moving those water heaters into the back of the trucks. We’ve got a small shed where we keep the tools locked up. It's not a place for a tour, but it's where we get things built.
