Fab-N-Fabrics

Fab-N-Fabrics is located over in Suriyan Nagar, specifically on Abt Road in the New Extension part of Karuvampalayam. It’s a bit of a newer area compared to some of the old textile hubs, but it is growing fast. We’ve got a decent-sized setup here. We do a lot of fabric work, mostly getting things ready for other companies to use. The office is really just a corner of the main floor with a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't spend much time sitting down though. There is always a lot to do, from checking the fabric for flaws to making sure the billing is correct. The air is always full of that specific textile smell. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a while. We aren't interested in being some big corporate entity. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. It gets pretty loud when all the machines are running, so we end up shouting to hear each other. It’s a practical place for practical work. No one here puts on airs. We just wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. If you’re looking for us, we’re the ones on Abt Road with the stacks of fabric near the entrance. Most days we are just head down, working hard.
