Electro India. We are based in Coimbatore on Mettupalayam Road. Our shop is at number 435. A good way to find us is by looking for the Annapoorna Hotel nearby; people use that as a landmark all the time. Being near the Sri Avanashilingam Home Science college also helps people locate us. It’s a very busy road with lots of buses and cars going by all day. We deal with all sorts of electronic parts. The shop is usually a bit messy with boxes and components because we are always moving things around. It’s just how we work. We don't have a fancy display window. Most of our customers are people who know exactly what they need and just come in to get it. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time. They know where everything is, even if it looks cluttered to someone else. The heat in Coimbatore can be a lot, but we’re used to it. We take a break when it gets too quiet. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. People just know us from being on this road for so many years. It’s a straightforward business. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s just a regular life here at Electro India. Sometimes we talk about the cricket scores while sorting through the capacitors and resistors in the bins.
