We are over on 8th Street in Tatabad, right across from the Ganga Yamuna Kaveri theatre. It’s a busy spot in Coimbatore, especially when there is a new movie playing. Our building is at number 14. We started this place because we wanted to cook the kind of food we like to eat at home. It’s a mix of different styles, mostly stuff from the south. The restaurant isn't very large, but we’ve tried to make it comfortable for families. We have some photos on the walls and simple tables and chairs. Most days we are busy from lunchtime until late at night. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of pans and the staff talking. We get our vegetables from the local market every morning to make sure they are okay. The 641012 area has a lot of offices, so we see a lot of people coming in for a quick lunch. In the evenings, it’s more relaxed with people taking their time. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just see us when they go to the cinema or walk down 8th street. We just try to keep the place clean and the food hot. It’s a regular neighborhood restaurant where you can get a decent meal without spending too much. If you’re in Tatabad, you’ll find us easily enough near the theatre.
