Consul Consolidated Pvt. Ltd has its roots at 36, D.P.F. Street in P.N. Palayam. It’s an older neighborhood, and the street itself has a lot of character, though it can get quite narrow when two cars try to pass each other. Our building is a bit of a landmark for the people who have lived here a long time. Inside, it’s a mix of old-fashioned workbench areas and some newer testing equipment we’ve picked up over the years. We do a lot of power-related work, and there’s always someone hovering over a circuit board or a piece of heavy machinery. It’s not the quietest place to spend a Tuesday afternoon, but we like the energy of it. We don’t have a marketing department or a spokesperson. When you call, you usually just get whoever is closest to the phone at the time. The staff here are more like a family than employees, often sharing lunch together and helping out with whatever needs doing, even if it’s not in their job description. We focus on the practical side of electronics and power systems. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to be finished by Friday. It’s a simple way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. We just try to stay honest about what we can do and get it done.
