Coimbatore Public School

We are out here in Saravanampatti, right off the Thudiaylur-Saravanampatti Road in Chinnamettupalayam. Most mornings start with the buses rolling in and the kids jumping out with their heavy bags. Coimbatore gets pretty warm, so the trees around the school help a bit with the shade. It’s a busy spot, especially being in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The building is just a regular school building, nothing too fancy, but it does the job for the classes we have. You can hear the sounds of the road from the front gates, but once you get inside the classrooms, things settle down. The teachers are usually busy getting their lessons ready before the first bell rings. We have a lot of local families from around Coimbatore sending their children here. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets backed up, but we’re used to it by now. There is always someone at the gate checking people in. It is just a normal place where work gets done and the day goes by fast. We keep the place clean as much as we can, though with so many students, there is always a bit of dust. It is just life at Coimbatore Public School. Most people know us because of where we are situated in Chinnamettupalayam. It feels like a small community here once the gates close for the day.
