Chennai Biriyani Restaurant

Chennai Biriyani Restaurant is located at 589 Nawab Hakeem Road in the Town Hall area of Coimbatore. We are right near Mandraadiyar, which is a place most people around here know. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, but it’s a good kind of energy. We have been on this road for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. Every morning starts with the same smells of spices and wood fire. It’s a lot of work to get the biriyani ready in large quantities, and we don't take shortcuts. The building is old, and the walls have seen a lot of years. We aren't trying to look like those new malls; we just want a place where the pots are full and the lights are on. Sometimes the traffic on Nawab Hakeem Road makes it hard for deliveries to arrive, but we make it work. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we have staff helping out. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just know that if the food is okay, people will keep coming back to Town Hall. We stay open late most nights because that’s when the area really wakes up. It’s a simple business and we like being part of this neighborhood. We spend our afternoons prepping for the evening rush and it keeps us busy through the night.
