Zenith Family Salon

Zenith Family Salon is located over in Kilpauk on Taylors Road. We are on the first floor of the building, which used to be number 19 but is now labeled as number 43. It can be a little confusing if you’re looking at old maps, but if you see the Telephone Quarters, we are right across from that. It’s a decent spot in Chennai and we get a lot of regulars from around the neighborhood. People just stop by when they have a free hour or so. The chairs are usually full on the weekends, which keeps us on our toes. We don't do much in the way of fancy decorations. It's just a clean space with mirrors and the tools we need to work. Some of the staff have been here for a long time and know exactly how the locals like things done. Being on the first floor means you get a bit of a view of the street, but mostly it's just a quiet place to get a haircut or whatever else someone needs. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It gets hot in Chennai, so the fan is always running. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everyone leaves looking better than when they walked in. That's pretty much the whole story of our little shop here. No big claims, just hair and nails and typical salon work every day.
