Aanand Park Unisex Saloon Spa

Aanand Park Unisex Saloon Spa is located at No 6, Duraiswamy Road in Vadapalani. We are quite close to the Jrk School, so we see a lot of parents and kids walking by in the mornings and afternoons. The street can get pretty jammed with traffic, but our shop is a bit of a quiet spot once you step inside. We have both men and women coming in because we handle everything from basic haircuts to more relaxing spa things. It’s not a five-star hotel spa, just a local place where you can get a massage or a hair wash without any fuss. The walls have some simple decorations and we try to keep the temperature comfortable, which is important in Chennai. We’ve been at this Duraiswamy Road location for a good while now. The staff here are just regular people who know their jobs well. We don’t do a lot of talking unless the customer wants to, so it stays fairly peaceful. Sometimes we have the local news on the television near the entrance. Most of our regulars come from the nearby apartments in Vadapalani. They like that they don’t have to go far to get their hair done. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning, do the work, and close up when the day is done. It’s a decent way to make a living in this part of Chennai.
