Amala Beauty Parlour

Amala Beauty Parlour has been here on 3rd Main Road in Mkb Nagar for quite a while now. We are right across the street from Amma Mess, which makes it easy to find us if you are in the area. The shop is small and we don't have any of those fancy neon signs or huge glass windows. It’s just a plain room with a couple of chairs and mirrors. We do mostly threading, hair cuts, and simple facials for the women who live nearby. Some of them have been coming to us since we first opened. The street can get pretty noisy during lunch time because of the crowd at the mess, but inside it’s usually okay. We have an old AC that we turn on when the Chennai heat gets too much, though it rattles a bit sometimes. My niece helps me out on the weekends when things get a little busy. We don’t really do appointments, so people just stop by when they have some free time. We try to keep the place tidy, but sometimes there are hair clippings on the floor if we've had a lot of customers in a row. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like those big salons in the malls. We just do our work, talk to the neighbors, and close up around eight. If you need a quick trim or your eyebrows done, you can just walk in.
