Ajantha Beauty Parlour

We have been here on Konnur High Road in Ayanavaram for quite a while now. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around the Kasi Viswanath Temple. Our shop, Ajantha Beauty Parlour, is right there at number 11. It is not a fancy place with big lights or anything, just a regular spot where people come to get their hair done or a quick facial. Usually, the mornings are quiet but once the afternoon heat hits, people start dropping in. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks from the neighborhood who just want to look a bit tidy. Sometimes it gets a little crowded and people have to wait on the bench outside, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening on the street while we work. The traffic outside can be loud with all the buses going toward the city, but inside it is mostly just the sound of the fans and some chatting. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while going to the temple or they live nearby. It is just a small business trying to keep things going. We handle the basic stuff like threading and haircuts. Nothing too complicated. It is just us here every day from morning till evening, making sure everyone who walks in leaves feeling a little better than when they arrived.
