Aj Beauty Saloon

Aj Beauty Saloon is a small shop located at No 3/24 on Arumugam Street. We are over in Korukkupet, which is part of Chennai 600021. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops like ours. We have been operating on Arumugam Street for a while. The shop is very basic. We have a couple of chairs and a few shelves for our tools. We are not trying to be fancy or modern. It is just a place to get a haircut or a shave without any trouble. Most of our customers are from the immediate area. They walk over from their homes or stop by on their way back from work. We know most people by their names. It is a friendly atmosphere, even if it is a bit small. We keep the fans running and the lights on from morning until night. There is no complicated menu of services. You just come in, wait your turn, and get your hair done. Sometimes we chat about the weather or what is happening in Korukkupet. It is a very local experience. We do not have any corporate rules or scripts. It is just us doing what we know. The shop is easy to find if you are on Arumugam Street. We have been a part of this community for years, and we just keep at it day after day. It is a simple life and we like the people around here.
