All Chennis Saloon is situated on Sheik Dawood Street in Royapettah. Our address is New No 2, but some old-timers still call it Old No 57. We are very close to the Mosque, which is a big landmark in this part of Chennai. Being in Royapettah, we see a lot of different people every day. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of history. Our shop is quite simple and we have been here for a good number of years. We just focus on giving people a decent haircut or a clean shave. The 600014 area is where we live and work, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s not a corporate place at all. It’s just a local saloon where you can relax for a few minutes while we do our job. The street outside can be narrow and crowded, but that is just how Royapettah is. We like the atmosphere here. People stop by after prayers or while they are out in the market. We don't have any complicated menus or services. We just do the basic stuff that men need to look presentable. It is a small business run by people who care about their neighbors. We have been at this spot on Sheik Dawood Street for a long time and hope to stay much longer. Nothing fancy, just hard work.
