We are based at No.17/1 Mahlinga Chetti Street, which is in the Mahalingapuram area of Nungambakkam. It is a nice enough street, tucked away a bit from the main rush of the city but still right in the middle of things. Our office has been here for a while now, and we have gotten to know the people on the street pretty well. Most of our day is spent looking at different housing options around Chennai, mostly in the residential pockets. We don't do much in the way of big advertisements; instead, we just focus on the people who walk through our door. The office is filled with files and papers because we like to keep track of everything manually. Nungambakkam is a busy place, and finding the right house or property can be a bit of a headache for people, so we just sit down with them and go through what we have on our list. It is a very direct way of doing things. We don't use a lot of fancy words or sales pitches. We just show what is available and let people decide for themselves. Sometimes we are out on site visits for most of the afternoon, but there is usually someone around to answer the phone. It is a steady rhythm of work that we have fallen into over the years, and we just keep at it every day. The office door sticks a little in the heat, but we are used to it by now.
