Sri Ram Associates

Sri Ram Associates is located in New Washermenpet, which is a very lively and crowded part of Chennai. Our office is at 20/10, Irusappan 2nd Street. The building is an older one, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. Inside, it’s a simple setup with a few desks and those old grey metal cupboards where we store all our files. We don’t have air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans to stay cool during the hot Chennai months. You can always hear the sounds of the street outside—scooters zooming by and people talking. It’s a very local atmosphere. We work as associates on different projects and tasks that come our way. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood who just walk in to talk to us. We don’t have a big website or do any fancy promotion. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are on Irusappan street. Sometimes it’s hard for visitors to find a place to park their bikes because the lane is so narrow. We usually grab some tea from the stall at the corner every afternoon. It’s a regular office with regular people doing their jobs. We don’t try to act like a big corporation. We just handle our work, talk to our neighbors, and keep the business going one day at a time. It’s practical and it works for us.
